While the pandemic-based shortages of aluminum t-slot extrusions reached its zenith in November of last year, lead times have remained relatively long ever since. Demand remains high. But we see signs of improvements. Cut Bars Are Now Available Faster This week, 80/20 reduced their lead times on bars cut-to-length down to just 10 - 12 days. Add a day or 2 to process, and a few days for shipping - and its now possible to get custom bars in around 3 weeks! That's great news. Full length bars remain in high demand, and lead times for those remain at around 20+ days...
