Corner Connectors for T-slot Aluminum Extrusions

Corner connectors give a distinctive look to any framing project versus connecting bars directly together. Most of these are for 3 bar corners, but there are 2 way corner connectors (connecting only two bars) available for metric bars (30mm, 40mm and 45mm series only).

 Here is an overview of the 80/20 corner connectors available for each profile/bar type:

  Fractional: 80/20 offers 2 types of corner connectors that can be used with the 1”x1” profiles (10 series),

  and 3 types that can be used with the 1.5” x 1.5” profiles (15 series)

including some two covers... 

  Metric: 80/20 offers 3 types of corner connectors that can be used with the 30mm profiles,

including one cap cover... 

  2 types for the 45mm profiles, 

  and 5 different connectors for the 40mm series profiles.

Installation: Most corner connectors require tapped ends of the bars to fasten into (tap sizes vary by profile/bar size).  Some connectors are designed to use with snap in nylon covers, others are designed to stand-alone.

While corner connectors do provide a decorative touch to any t-slot extrusion frame, they do limit connection near or at the corner as the do not have incorporate T-slots – so plan accordingly.
